Zealand is bright and energetic, thriving in his foster home. He has made remarkable progress in his development and is now speaking in full sentences. Zealand loves Mickey Mouse and enjoys dancing to the theme song of Bluey, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.

Zealand’s behavioral therapist is working with him on understanding expectations, time frames, transitions, and age-appropriate responsibilities. A visual calendar and timer would provide a hands-on way for Zealand to understand better how long activities last and what is expected of him throughout the day. The calendar can be used to establish routines and prepare him for transitions, such as having 30 minutes of TV time or knowing when it is time to move on to another activity. His therapist is also encouraging the use of visual tools to help him stay on task and learn limits in an age-appropriate way.
