Eric has faced considerable trauma and loss at such a young age, which has shaped his perspective on life. He recognizes that his journey is different from many of his peers, leading him to yearn for a sense of normalcy and connection like any other child. His foster parents and caseworker often describe him as a wonderful child who is gradually learning to apologize and embrace the love offered by the adults in his life. He has a special bond with his two-year-old foster sister, stepping into the role of an excellent big brother, which brings him joy and a sense of purpose.

Like any teenage boy, Eric wants to wear nice clothes to school and when he’s out with friends. He has experienced significant loss in his life, including clothing and personal items while moving between homes. Eric's current foster parents are doing their best to ensure he has clothing and accessories that help him feel confident and comfortable.
