Joshua enjoys being both indoors and outdoors, splitting his time between playing video games and getting outside to play basketball. He's good at making friends and has a real knack for sports, and he'd love the chance to try out for the track team at school. With his mom and stepdad often away at work, it's mainly Joshua's sister who takes care of him and his brother day to day.

Joshua would like a basketball hoop so he can play basketball outside. He currently plays alone inside as the family cannot afford to purchase sport equipment for the children. This item would enrich Joshua’s life because he doesn’t have many friends in the neighborhood, and basketball is something he can play both alone and with his little brother. Joshua and his family are moving into a motel, so having a foldable basketball hoop would be helpful to ensure they can store it while they look for a house.
