After a failed adoption and separation from his siblings, he is living in group care. It has been challenging as he has been moved from multiple group homes in just a few months. He continues to remain positive and he hopes to find a forever family.
At 18, Steven is preparing to enter the Extended Foster Care program after spending over a year in incarceration. He’s determined to rebuild his life by re-enrolling in high school to catch up on his credits and create a stable future. Unfortunately, he has very little to start with; his belongings were returned in trash bags, filled with stained clothes and mismatched shoes. Currently, he’s still wearing the outfit provided during his time in incarceration, as it’s the only clean one that fits. An Amazon gift card would greatly help him purchase the basic necessities he needs to transition back into the community and work toward independence.
