Richard is a young man living in foster care with is aunt and uncle. He is diabetic and struggles with the limitations this puts on him. He is a good student and works hard to keep his grades up. He is a hard worker and likes to do odd jobs for extra spending money. His favorite hobbies are playing video games and playing basketball.

Richard loves basketball, Nike, and the color red, so a Lego Nike Dunk trick shot set immediately caught his eye. Building and displaying it in his room would give him something fun and satisfying that's entirely his own.
