Semaj is a kind, independent young woman who is currently living in a transitional living program as she prepares for the next chapter of her life and ages out of foster care. She has worked hard to develop the skills and confidence she needs to build a successful and independent future. Semaj deeply values her community and enjoys spending time with her church family, where she has found encouragement, connection, and a sense of belonging. She also has a caring heart and often looks for opportunities to mentor and support her peers when she feels her experience or guidance could benefit someone else. Semaj’s compassion, independence, and desire to help others are wonderful examples of the strength she has developed throughout her journey.

A helmet would be an important safety companion to Semaj’s e-scooter as she prepares for greater independence. As she uses her scooter to travel to school, work, and social activities, a properly fitted helmet can help protect her in the event of an accident or fall.
