Taylor is a hardworking and determined young woman who is focused on building a successful future for herself. She entered foster care with her twin sister when they were younger. They reunited, but unfortunately that didn’t last, and they are both back in care. Luckily, they are placed with an amazing family who welcomed both girls. Taylor has a strong passion for early childhood education and enjoys working with children while helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. This year, Taylor is taking college courses early so she can get a head start on earning her degree while gaining valuable knowledge and experience. She also works as a swim instructor, where she develops her responsibility, communication, patience, and leadership skills. Taylor is motivated, caring, and dedicated to everything she puts her mind to, and she is determined to continue growing through education, employment, and meaningful experiences as she prepares for her future.

Taylor is so excited to be entering her senior year! She has enrolled in dual enrollment classes through her high school. This means a local college is offering these classes, and she will earn college credits! She hopes to complete 12 credits toward her undergraduate degree before this year is over. An iPad would let her work on her classwork more flexibly. She has a laptop, but it is older, tends to freeze, and needs to be rebooted. This iPad is perfect not only for watching her virtual lessons online but also for completing the college-level classwork she needs. Taylor plans to earn her degree in education after completing high school!
