Naia is a young girl in foster care after being sent away from her home in Hawaii due to unsafe living conditions. What was supposed to be a temporary summer trip turned into a permanent placement. She loves sports, art, and music. She is a humble young lady with so much potential. Unfortunately, her previous home lacked safety and stability, but her current placement is a new opportunity.

Naia recently transitioned to a permanent placement after what was initially meant to be a short summer visit. Arriving without any shoes, she has been making do with flip-flops and slides throughout the summer. With high school just around the corner, Naia urgently needs a proper pair of shoes to help her walk into her new school with confidence.
