Ty is a resilient, creative, and determined young mother. She has a deep passion for the arts and enjoys painting, singing, and writing, with a goal to publish her book, The 90th Day. Her son, Koa, loves playing with his dinosaurs, reading books, and going on nature walks together. Ty dreams of becoming an entrepreneur by inspiring others through her writing and opening a small bakery, hoping her journey encourages others to never give up.

Ty and her 3-year-old son have been living in their car for the past several days after being evicted from their home. She lost her job in January, and despite actively searching for employment and attending multiple job interviews, she has not yet been able to secure stable work. For the past several months, Ty has relied on unemployment benefits to survive, but those benefits are scheduled to end in August. As her financial situation worsened, she was forced to part with many of her and her son's personal belongings because they had nowhere to store them. Ty applied for welfare assistance but was denied because she currently receives unemployment benefits. She also reached out to several community organizations for help, but because she does not receive cash assistance, she was informed that they were unable to provide services. She has found herself caught in a difficult gap where she does not qualify for the support she desperately needs. Despite these overwhelming challenges, Ty remains determined to create a better future for herself and her son. She continues attending job interviews, applying for employment, and holding onto hope that she will soon secure a job and regain stable housing. Right now, she needs compassionate support to help her family through this crisis while she works toward becoming self-sufficient once again. This wish will cover 8/8-8/18.
