Derek is currently living in foster care and is placed in a group home. He has faced challenges that no one should ever have to endure, but despite all the upheaval, he remains determined to improve his life. Derek has a strong love for football and especially enjoys watching games whenever he has the opportunity. Football is one of his favorite ways to relax, have fun, and connect with something he is passionate about.

Derek loves football, especially the San Francisco 49ers. Although he has difficulty with his knees and is unable to play tackle football, he was excited to join his school’s flag football team. With his birthday coming up in a few weeks and football season getting underway, Derek would be thrilled to have a jersey featuring his favorite defensive player from his favorite team. This would be a meaningful gift that celebrates his love of football and his excitement about being part of the flag football team.
