Jazmine is a determined young woman who is overcoming the odds and working hard to break generational cycles of poverty and violence. Much of her childhood was spent living with relatives, but today she is back home with her mom, and their family is doing well. Her mom is working while also attending college, setting a powerful example of perseverance and the importance of education. Jazmine is following that example. She is enrolled in dual-enrollment classes, working toward graduating high school while earning college credit at the same time. She is taking her education seriously and preparing for a bright future.

Jazmine’s heavy workload requires research and assignments that are difficult to manage without a personal computer. She currently relies on the public library, but commuting eats into her limited time and makes it hard to stay on top of her demanding schedule. Having her own laptop will allow her to complete assignments from home, manage her time efficiently, and focus on building a successful future.
