Kaden is the kind of young person who may be quiet when you first meet him, but give him time, listen to what he has to say, and something remarkable happens: his hope begins to shine through. Kaden has faced challenges that no young person should have to carry, yet he continues to show incredible resilience. He is learning that his circumstances do not have to determine his future. Through mentorship, he is discovering his own voice, building confidence, and learning what it means to be a positive leader. What stands out most is how much Kaden cares for younger boys in his program, naturally becoming an encouraging role model for them. School is also giving him a crucial fresh start. After safety issues at his local school impacted his academics last year, he is now in a safe environment with the tutoring and individualized support he needs to thrive.

Kaden is wishing for a laptop for school. Having a laptop would give him the tools he needs to complete assignments, access educational resources, and make full use of the support his new school provides. A laptop would be more than a school supply for Kaden. It would be a practical tool for helping him catch up, stay connected to his education, and continue building a future that looks different from the paths he has seen around him.
