Esmeralda is a young woman who is starting to develop and put to use her independent living skills. She is working hard in her High School program in hopes to graduate on time. Recently she was able to reunite with her family and unfortunately was also diagnosed with a medical condition that debilitated her. Esmeralda keeps a positive attitude and continues to strive forward despite the physical and emotional pain.

After moving back with her family, Esmeralda has been working hard to settle in and make her space feel like her own. Her clothes are currently kept in bags and suitcases, so she is requesting a dresser to help organize her room and settle into a safe, personal space. This practical gift will give her a sense of stability and comfort as she continues to focus on her health and goals.
