Aaliyah has lived with her grandmother for years. She loves to dance and participates in a dance class. She is currently participating in cheerleading. She is volunteering at a second-hand store to get some experience. She also loves arts and crafts. She enjoys doing hair and make-up.

Aaliyah's current bed was a hand-me-down that's now old and falling apart, and with school, cross country, and track all starting up, she needs a comfortable place to really rest and recover. She's already picked out a bed in her favorite color, pink, and said it would be absolutely perfect for her room. Aaliyah even said this bed would make her feel like a princess, and that kind of joy is exactly what this wish is about.
