Nita has a passion for teaching and helping others in any way she can. Despite facing numerous obstacles in her life as a former foster youth, she remains eager to assist others in overcoming their own challenges.
After aging out of foster care and moving more than 30 times, Nita now has an opportunity to work in Alaska that could set her on a path toward financial independence and a more stable future. Starting this new job means being prepared from day one, and that starts with the basics. She needs 5 pairs of durable, comfortable work pants that can withstand the demanding environment she's about to enter. Having the right clothing would let her show up prepared and professional, without worrying about whether she has the basic necessities to do the job well. This opportunity represents a real chance to build a life of her own, with stability and independence.
