Jameson was born prematurely at just 27 weeks and has spent considerable time in the NICU. He has faced significant challenges and has already undergone two surgeries. He is scheduled for another surgery to correct a perforated bowel and to have both a G-tube and a colostomy bag placed, which should help him gain weight appropriately. When his health began to decline, his birth parents left him at the hospital and have not visited since. He and his twin brother are being discharged to their foster home.

Jameson is about to celebrate his very first Halloween, and his foster family already has big plans. They love picking a costume theme every year and dressing up together, and this time around, they want Jameson and his twin brother in on it too. He'll be the pumpkin of the group, small, round, and impossibly cute. This pumpkin costume will keep him bundled up and warm as the whole family heads out trick-or-treating.
