Dayle is an Information Technology major who has worked hard to create a new life after a challenging childhood marked by emotional and physical abuse. Following a violent incident, she chose to distance herself from her parents for safety. Now living on campus and supporting herself through financial aid, part-time work, and occasional help from her grandmother, she also receives psychiatric care for PTSD. Despite her challenges, Dayle finds joy in technology, playing bass guitar, practicing yoga, and participating in her school’s Plant and Crochet Clubs, which contribute to her personal growth and recovery.

Now in her junior year, Day'le needs a reliable laptop to keep up with her coursework, but the one she has is starting to fail and is no longer dependable. Without family support to fall back on, she doesn't have the resources to replace it herself. A new laptop would let her focus on her schoolwork while also researching career opportunities and updating her resume as she prepares for life after college. It's an investment in Day'le's long-term future as she works toward her degree and her next chapter as a young professional.
