He's a naturally curious teen with a love for nature and music, spending time in the community garden learning about tools and plants. He's also picked up his grandmother's woodworking skills and is in his third year of learning electric guitar. These outlets have given Nathan a real sense of purpose during a difficult transition.
The move to a new home and area hasn't been easy on Nathan or his grandmother financially, especially with delays in receiving aid. Now that Nathan has turned 15 and wants to get involved in sports at his new school, he needs clothes and shoes he can actually be active in. Getting him outfitted would lift a real weight off his grandmother's shoulders. It would also help Nathan start his new school feeling ready to make friends and join in.
