A shopping trip to Target for Za'Keese who has outgrown every inch of his current school clothes

Za'Keese, 8 years old, NJ | clock-icon NEEDED BY 09/18

Za'Keese likes to play with his cars. While his family may encounter hardship, Za'Keese stays positive. He also enjoys playing with his two brothers and can't wait to start school.

Za'Keese has grown so much this summer that his school uniform from last year no longer fits, and honestly, it was already too small for him even then. As he gets ready to head back to school, his mother is currently unemployed and simply doesn't have the means to buy him new clothes or uniforms. A shopping spree to Target would let Za'Keese pick out clothes that actually fit him now, so he can walk into the school year looking and feeling like himself, not stuck in something too tight, too short, or too obviously outgrown. It would also take a real weight off his mother's shoulders. During a hard stretch without income, one less expense to stress over means she can focus more energy on getting back on her feet, knowing her son is taken care of.
