Cody is a motivated young man ready to start college. As a former foster youth, he has faced many challenges but remains focused on building a better future for himself and others. He will major in Psychology with the goal of becoming a mental health counselor for youth who have experienced trauma. Cody wants to be the supportive figure he lacked growing up, listening and helping others heal. He is known for his compassion, dependability, and self-awareness. Outside of school, he enjoys writing poetry, playing basketball, and hiking, finding peace in nature. Cody is determined to turn his struggles into purpose and make the most of his college journey.

As Cody takes this important step toward greater independence, having a quality helmet is just as important as having reliable transportation. A helmet will help protect Cody as he travels to school, explores employment opportunities, and navigates his community on his e-scooter. Granting this part of Cody’s wish means giving him not only the freedom to move forward, but also the confidence and safety to do so responsibly.
