Rae has been raised by her single grandmother her whole life. She has some medical complications and was recently diagnosed with autism, but none of that has slowed down her curiosity or creativity. She loves beading and crafting jewelry, and her interests extend beyond that, spanning art, science, biology, anatomy, and history. She also raises lunar moths and painted lady butterflies, enjoys anime and cosplay, and even makes her own teas from herbs she's grown herself.

Rae received a late autism diagnosis and is still learning how to navigate her needs and what actually works for her. Lately, that's meant struggling with the tags and materials in her undergarments, something that can make an ordinary day uncomfortable in ways that are hard for others to see.
