Lance is a sweet and energetic boy who loves to smile and bring joy to those around him. He is the third of four children and the middle boy in his family. Lance has been diagnosed with autism, and while he experiences challenges at times, he continues to show incredible resilience and happiness. Despite difficult experiences early in life, Lance continues to approach the world with curiosity and excitement. He has a bright personality and enjoys the simple things that make him happy. Some of Lance’s favorite things include Spider-Man, Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear, and Baby Shark. He also loves oranges, which are one of his favorite snacks. Lance enjoys activities that allow him to move, explore, and engage with the characters and music he loves. Lance’s smile and joyful spirit make him a very special little boy. With encouragement and support, he continues to grow, learn, and share his light with everyone around him. He and his family are struggling with housing instability.

Lance is continuing to build his foundational academic skills and does especially well when learning includes something he can touch and manipulate. A wooden letter-and-number construction board would give him a hands-on way to practice important skills. As Lance creates letters and numbers, he can work on recognition, formation, visual-spatial skills, fine-motor coordination, and concentration. The reusable board means he can practice the same skills many times without it feeling like another worksheet.
