He is working hard to build coping skills and develop positive relationships. Brandon is funny and witty, and many people who meet him say he has an old soul.
Brandon has been in foster care for three years and has spent the last two in a group home. After extensive efforts to locate relatives, a second cousin in another state has offered Brandon a permanent home. While waiting for the paperwork to be finalized, Brandon has continued to look forward to this new chapter. He has wanted a virtual reality headset for years, and receiving one would be a meaningful way to celebrate his birthday and recognize the end of a long journey in foster care.
