Dereon is being raised by his grandmother, and he loves playing sports. He has just been granted a full-ride scholarship for college, and he is very excited to start this next chapter of his life. He is outgoing and makes friends easily. He is also very helpful around the house and serves as a great role model for his younger brother.

Deron is heading off to his first year of college, and while he's excited about this new chapter, one thing he knows he'll miss is Grandma's home-cooked meals. A mini fridge for his dorm room would mean she can still send him off with a few special meals to keep on hand, so he doesn't have to give up that taste of home just because he's away from it.
