Fostering Hope - MontcoAndrew is an amazing teenager who loves music, school, and working hard. He entered foster care with his younger brother and has lived in different homes before finding a supportive pre-adoptive placement. As a barista, he enjoys learning about coffee flavors and working with his team. Andrew dreams of pursuing a career in the biomed or biotech industry and is considering graduate studies in entomology as he applies to various universities. While he has been a great caretaker for his brother, he is now enjoying the chance to explore his interests and be a kid in a nurturing environment.
Andrew has never really had the chance to choose his own clothes; most of what he's worn has been hand-me-downs or donations someone else picked out. Now that he's in a new foster home, one he hopes will become his forever home, he's excited for the chance to start building a wardrobe that actually feels like him. This navy t-shirt would be a great first staple piece, something simple he can wear with confidence, knowing he picked it out himself. It's a small step, but for Andrew, clothes that reflect his style are a real boost to his self-esteem.
