Lorraina was removed from her home due to allegations of physical abuse and neglect. Despite experiencing inconsistent living situations, including moving between different counties and periods of homelessness, she has remained ambitious and determined to succeed. Finding stability and becoming independent as she transitions into adulthood has been one of her most important goals. Lorraina lives independently, is enrolled in college courses, and hopes to pursue a career in child development. She continues to demonstrate resilience as she moves forward, develops new skills, and remains committed to her education.

Lorraina is a kind and smart girl who successfully completed high school this year! She is now furthering her education at a community college, where she's interested in nursing courses and careers in child development. She hopes to become more independent and gain education and work experience. She currently doesn't have a laptop, which is essential for completing coursework and accessing textbooks on her own time. A new laptop for Lorraina would let her focus on her classes without worrying about falling behind and work on her schoolwork wherever she needs to. She can also use it to search for jobs to gain experience in the field she wants to work in.
