Ryan is currently living with his grandmother, who has provided him with a stable and loving home after a tumultuous start to life. For the first few years, Ryan faced homelessness and was often in unsafe environments, but his situation has greatly improved since being placed with her. Despite the chaos of his early years, Ryan has adjusted remarkably well to his new life. He has a strong desire to learn and read, finding joy in comic books and a fascination with history. Plus, he uses a comprehension book for his classes, further nurturing his love for learning.

Ryan's grandmother is raising him and enjoys watching him and his brother stay active and play together. With the weather beginning to change, it’s becoming harder for them to spend time outdoors. An indoor basketball hoop would give Ryan a fun, safe way to stay active indoors while continuing to bond with his brother. This would support his energy, coordination, and connection with family even on days when going outside isn’t possible.
