Although she cannot say complete sentences, she tries to communicate all the time with little stories. Elizabeth always has a smile on her face. She was placed in a resource home with her younger and older siblings because they did not have any family in the area to care for them.
Elizabeth is still learning what it means to share, and having her own ride-on car would give her a chance to practice that in a fun, low-pressure way, playing alongside her sister instead of trading off one toy between them. She loves being outside, and with her own car to ride, she and her sister could enjoy the outdoors together, each having something that's theirs while still sharing the experience. With winter approaching, it would also give them a few more weeks of good weather to make the most of before it's time to head back indoors.
