Zane can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but he becomes a real social butterfly once he feels comfortable around someone. He's been in the foster system since he was a young adolescent, so trust takes time and real effort to build, and when he does open up, it means a great deal. Zane has also developed a passion for traveling since not being able to see much of the world while growing up in foster care, and he saved for a full year just to take his first trip outside the state and country. He hopes to keep traveling and exploring in the future.

Zane just enrolled in college and is starting his first semester this fall, something he never imagined would actually happen for him. He's great with technology and wants to pursue a degree in computer science, currently attending community college full-time. Since he was only provided a laptop while in high school, he doesn't have one of his own now and has had to borrow one from the college library. Having his own laptop would let Zane get his coursework done both at school and at home without having to rely on borrowed equipment.
