Marie is a quiet, smart, and wonderful young lady who lives in a foster home with her brother. She loves school and remains focused on her grades. Marie enjoys music and learning the latest dance moves. Though she misses her family, she remains in good spirits.

Marie loves her job at Dunkin Donuts and was recently promoted to Assistant Manager. Marie worked very hard to get her promotion. She loves serving the public and always wears a huge smile, no matter what she's going through. Marie asked for a new pair of clogs to wear to work. A friend handed her the pair she was wearing. Marie continues to wear the clogs until she can save up enough money to purchase a new pair. Marie does not like asking for handouts, as she calls them. Helping Marie will help her financially and also show her that she is not alone and that resources are still available.
