Noah has a history of neglect and rejection from the people who were supposed to be closest to him, and for a long time he struggled with real anger and resentment toward anyone who tried to get close. Since being placed with his current foster father, he's worked incredibly hard to move past that anger, and his foster dad describes him as a completely new kid. Noah is learning to accept love, has bonded with his foster siblings, and is discovering what it feels like to be part of a normal, functioning family.

Noah has recently started making friends in his neighborhood for the first time and now loves being outside every chance he gets. After riding his friends' electric bikes, he's expressed a real desire to have one of his own. While he's grateful for the bike he already has, he'd love the chance to keep up with his friends and explore new areas at a faster pace.
