Josiah and his mother have been struggling for the past year and are currently without stable housing. Despite their circumstances, Josiah remains positive and tries to make his mom smile all the time. He deals with chronic asthma but loves playing and watching soccer, and he loves to draw, making pictures for his family and teachers. He can't wait to grow up and become a police officer.

Josiah's asthma is a daily concern, and living in a small motel room with little control over indoor air quality only makes it harder to manage. An air purifier would help provide cleaner, fresher air by reducing dust, odors, and airborne particles. During this stretch of housing instability, it would give Josiah and his mom a real sense of comfort and safety in their temporary living situation.
