Declan is a very energetic child who is always on the move and has a vivid imagination. He has experienced many changes in his living situation and has faced numerous hardships in his life. Recently, Declan was placed in a resource home after moving several times; however, this is not his permanent placement at the moment. Despite the many moves he has endured, Declan consistently maintains a smile and is easygoing when adapting to new environments.

Declan, who is transitioning home after a hospital stay, would like a LEGO set for his birthday. A LEGO set would provide him with a fun, age-appropriate activity to enjoy as he adjusts to being back home, while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, patience, and concentration. Completing the set can also give him a sense of accomplishment and provide an opportunity to spend meaningful, positive time with his family or caregivers. Building together can help strengthen relationships, provide comfort and a sense of normalcy during his transition home, and create happy birthday memories for Declan.
