Lexi is a cheerful young lady who is always on the move. She is very observant, enjoys snacking, and loves being the center of attention. Recently, Lexi and her two siblings were placed into foster care for the first time due to concerns about their home conditions and domestic violence. Since entering foster care, Lexi has thrived and enjoys spending time with her siblings.

Lexi really wants a baby doll while she waits to reunite with her parents because dolls offer opportunities for nurturing, pretend, and imitative play. She can practice familiar routines such as feeding, cuddling, rocking, and putting the doll to bed, which can help her explore everyday experiences through play. During a transition, a familiar, comforting toy can also provide a sense of security and give her a positive activity to enjoy while she waits to return to her parents.
