Amaya is a beautiful, kind girl who is excited to be out of high school soon. She and her family have a history with child protection dating back to when she was little. Amaya is the oldest of her six siblings. Amaya and her siblings recently lost their mother. They have been working through the grief of the loss when her three-year-old brother was hit by a car. Her brother has made a miraculous recovery. However, due to the recent tragic events occurring within her family, her family's funds have had to be reallocated. Through everything, Amaya has maintained a positive attitude and continues to put her siblings' needs and wants before her own.

Amaya needs new clothing for her senior year of high school, specifically bras, socks, underwear, and everyday outfits. Funds that had originally been set aside for her clothing had to be reallocated after her family experienced significant tragedy. Amaya and her siblings recently lost their mother, and while still grieving, her three-year-old brother was hit by a car. Thankfully, he has made a miraculous recovery, but the family's resources have understandably gone toward getting through these events, leaving little left over for things like Amaya's wardrobe. Amaya is a free spirit who loves expressing herself through what she wears. Getting to pick out her own clothing would give her something that feels entirely hers during an incredibly difficult season, a small but meaningful way to hold onto her own identity and style.
