Elle came into her great-aunt's care because her mother was struggling with mental health and addiction issues that made it difficult for her to provide the care Elle needed. She adopted Elle in 2017, and since then, it has been wonderful to watch her grow and blossom. Elle is creative and artistic and absolutely loves making crafts. She is also becoming a great swimmer, and one of her favorite things to do is simply take walks. She is a determined, loving child who works hard at everything she does. One challenge Elle has been working to overcome is toe walking due to neurological setbacks. She participates in physical therapy and has been doing a wonderful job working toward improving her walking.

Due to neurological setbacks, Elle is a toe walker and needs shoes that provide the right combination of support and room for her feet. Finding shoes that are comfortable for her and work with her needs has been challenging. The New Balance 327 has the wider toe box and arch support that work especially well for her, but they are unfortunately outside our budget. Elle loves being active, especially taking walks and swimming, and she is working very hard in physical therapy to improve her walking. The right shoes will help keep her comfortable and supported as she continues to make progress. This wish would allow her to participate in the activities she loves while giving her feet the support they need.
