Cage spent 18 months in foster care while his mom worked toward reunification. During that time he formed a real bond with his foster family who never stopped showing up for him. He is energetic and fun-loving and has been through enough to know how much it means to finally belong somewhere.

Cage has always loved the Atlanta Braves. He has been able to go to a game with his foster family for the last two years. A Braves jersey would let him proudly represent a team that matters to him and wear something that reflects his personality and interests. Cage loves to represent his favorite sports teams in his clothing, and this would give him that sense of self-expression.
