Shamaj is a kind and caring young man. His father was recently incarcerated and he is having a very hard time not having a father figure with him at home. His mother is a single mom trying her best to make ends meet.

Shamaj is excited about the new semester and looks forward to a great year at his Christian college, but one requirement is already weighing on him before classes even begin. Chapel attendance is mandatory every week, and so is showing up in a suit, an expense that's hard to prioritize on top of everything else that comes with starting fresh. Without one, something as routine as walking into chapel becomes a source of stress rather than community. A proper suit would change that, letting Shamaj show up prepared and confident each week instead of worrying whether he's meeting expectations before he's even had the chance to settle in. It's also the kind of investment that would serve him well beyond this semester, a quality suit he can rely on for years of chapel services, interviews, and other important moments ahead.
