In January 2025, Ashley moved in with her next-door neighbor through a fictive kinship in search of refuge. Ashley has been accepted to community college and plans to transfer to either Kutztown University or Alvernia University to pursue a degree in art history or a related field. Her ultimate aspiration is to become a museum curator.

Ashley is well into her first semester at school and loving every second of it. One challenge she's run into is coursework that requires printing her designs and projects, and the on-campus printer has been unreliable, leaving her in a bind more than once as deadlines approach. A personal printer would solve that entirely, giving Ashley the convenience of printing whenever she needs to, without racing to campus, waiting in line, or hoping the printer actually works that day. It would take a real source of stress off her plate, letting her focus more on her projects and less on logistics, and making everyday parts of school life just a little bit easier.
