Support Center for Child AdvocatesKody has a medical condition that impacts his GI functioning, which he masks and copes with daily, making it challenging to feel confident in his own skin at times. Kody has unfortunately experienced a lot of trauma in his life as a result of abuse and the loss of his mother. Despite Kody's trauma, loss, and grief, he is kind, respectful, sensitive, insightful, and humble.
Kody's GI issues make it difficult for him to feel comfortable in his own skin at times. To help him feel more confident and less lonely, Kody enjoys taking pride in his appearance. Kody would love some new sneakers. At times, he can feel like a burden to his foster family when asking for clothing or shoes. Kody would be so appreciative of the opportunity to purchase new Nike sneakers so he can continue to take pride in his appearance among others, especially his friends, during his senior year of high school!
