Texans TogetherMalaysia has been involved in the foster care system for many years now. In the last few weeks, she has faced a series of sad events including a placement change to a new group home on top of the death of her sister who she dearly loved. Malaysia is a young teen but diagnosed with an intellectual learning disability and struggling to adjust to these traumatic events in her life.
Malaysia would love to be able to hold onto something that provides her comfort since the passing of her sister. She currently is feeling very down and unloved. Although she is a young teen, she has a lower maturity level due her diagnosis and would find a great deal of comfort in a stuffed animal.
