Taven is a friendly and caring young man who is currently living in residential foster care and is eager to build a future where he can become more independent. One of his favorite things to do is tinker with cars, whether he is helping a friend or family member with a project or simply learning how things work. Taven enjoys getting his hands dirty, figuring things out, and seeing the results of his hard work. Taven has a strong desire to prove himself and is looking forward to having more opportunities to learn, grow, and take steps toward the independence he is craving.

Taven would like a helmet to go with his electric scooter so he can enjoy his new independence safely and responsibly. As he uses the scooter to travel to work and around his community, having proper safety equipment will help protect him while he learns to navigate new routes and surroundings. A helmet is an important part of giving Taven the freedom to get where he needs to go while also teaching him that independence comes with responsibility.
