Alea found herself in the most unimaginable housing crisis a young college student could endure. Just after the passing of her beloved father, she was told she must leave the family home, which was being auctioned off. With the threat of homelessness looming, Alea’s resilience shone through as she attended her college classes and tirelessly searched for a new place for herself and her cats. After securing a new apartment, her challenges were far from over. Her mother unexpectedly removed her from car insurance, and her place of employment shut its doors. Yet, Alea’s determination and spirit remained unbroken as she navigated these turbulent times.

Alea, a dedicated full-time college student, recently faced a challenging transition when she was asked to leave her family home and spent her entire savings on securing a new apartment. With no current income, she is relying on local resources to meet her basic needs. A Walmart gift card would be a lifeline, providing her with essential food supplies as she strives to find employment and regain her financial stability.
