NJ DCFS - Warren CountyTyler has been a part of the welfare system for some time now and has struggled with finding his way. Tyler loves family and community. Tyler loves recording and taking pictures of his friends, family, and nature. He struggles to express himself clearly but has learned to use art and photography to express himself. In the near future, Tyler hopes to take pictures of top basketball and football players.
For Tyler, photography isn't just about taking pictures; it's about giving people something to hold onto. He loves capturing action shots while out playing and handing instant photos to friends and family on the spot. Being part of the foster care system has made keeping and sharing memories especially meaningful for Tyler, and a Polaroid camera would let him continue creating keepsakes for his siblings, for himself, and for the people around him. Looking ahead, Tyler hopes to become a photographer for top athletes one day, and every photo he takes now is building toward that future.
