Valeria is a bubbly, animated and athletic fourth grade girl who is always in motion. She is smart, funny, and sassy. She loves sports, especially soccer, arts & crafts, and building LEGO sculptures. She is excelling in school and at her recent Back to School Night, her teacher said Valeria is the top student in her class. Valeria entered foster care at age 4 in 2022 when she was found by police walking alone in the street in the middle of an extremely rainy night. Later, it was determined that her mother had been under the influence of alcohol, and was unaware that Valeria had left their apartment through a window. Valeria was moved from foster home to foster home for several years until finally in 2025, was placed in a home with foster parents who now want to adopt her.

Valeria is a special girl with so many strengths and talents. Not only is she an amazing student, but a talented athlete, gregarious extrovert, and a kind and thoughtful soul. Although she spends much of her time outdoors playing soccer with friends, she also shows a unique propensity for building, and enjoys the challenge of constructing complicated LEGO structures. As her birthday approaches, Valeria's wish is for a LEGO Heartlake Grand Hotel, and says she can't wait to plan how to best approach her imagined creation coming to life as she has long admired the picture of the completed project.
