Lilly relies on her Fisher & Paykel RT114 High Performance Vent Circuit (Single Heated) every day, but insurance and standard supply allotments only cover 4 per month. Because the circuit is heated and naturally retains moisture, it has to be changed frequently to reduce the risk of bacteria like Pseudomonas. Five more would give Lilly a secure rotation, which is vital to keeping her safe and infection-free.
