Independence High SchoolViVi has been in and out of foster care her whole life while navigating the juvenile justice system due to a lack of resources. She is very quiet and struggles with depression, but also really enjoys attending her siblings' football games, riding her scooter, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. She has struggled to attend school frequently but is eager to turn over a new leaf and get closer to graduating!!
This past week, ViVi and her family were forced out of the homeless shelter they'd been staying in for the past few months, leaving them to figure out where to go next. In the middle of that upheaval, something as basic as groceries shouldn't be one more thing weighing on them. A Safeway shopping trip would let ViVi's family stock up on easy, convenient meals they can grab without much hassle- one less worry while they work on finding stable ground again.
