Lynn lost her mother in a car accident, and she has been struggling to find comfort and a sense of security since that loss. Afterward, she was removed from her father’s home and is living with her aunt in a kinship placement. Her aunt hopes to adopt her and provide the stable, permanent home she needs. Lynn is navigating grief along with many major changes in her young life, and her family is working to surround her with consistency, reassurance, and love as she begins to heal and feel safe again.

Lynn would love to have this Belle American Girl doll as something special she can call her own. She enjoys dolls and imaginative play, and Belle is a character she really loves. Having a comforting toy to play with, dress up, and keep close would give Lynn a positive outlet during a time when so much in her life has changed.
