Benjamin has been in foster care for most of his life and has struggled immensely with everything going on. From moving around a lot to visits being upended and losing faith in the adults he loved, it has been a very rough time for him. Despite all this, he has remained a thoughtful and kind young man. He does well in school, especially in language arts, and has fallen in love with sports to keep himself busy.

With everything Benjamin has been through, this jersey is one of the few things he's genuinely excited about for his upcoming birthday. He watches every Atlanta Hawks game faithfully, cheering with his whole heart and losing himself in the excitement, it's one of the few places where things just feel simple and good. Having an Atlanta Hawks jersey of his own would mean the world to him, and he'd wear it every chance he got, proudly, at school and all around his neighborhood.
