Aliyanna is new to our care at K Star. She is the oldest of her siblings, and this is her first time in the system. She loves art and all things horror. Aliyanna loves playing volleyball and being outside in the fresh air. She’s having a hard time adjusting to her situation. She has been through a lot but is trying to see the bright side. She is slowly coming out of her shell, and we are happy to have her here.

When Aliyanna arrived at the shelter, she had nothing with her, no clothes, no shoes, no personal items of her own. The circumstances that brought her there left no room to pack, so she's starting over with literally nothing to call hers. An Amazon gift card would let Aliyanna pick out clothing, a pair of shoes, and hygiene products that actually fit her style and feel like they belong to her, not just borrowed or secondhand, but chosen. It's a small way to give her back a sense of ownership and comfort as she adjusts to a completely new situation.
